I honestly can’t say enough good things about André. I’ve been back to Porto four different times now, not only because I love the beautiful city, but because getting tattooed by him has become such a special part of every trip.

Beyond being an incredibly talented tattoo artist, André is genuinely one of the kindest people you’ll meet. He makes the whole experience comfortable from the second you walk in, is always willing to work with you on the design and placement, and really takes the time to make sure you’re happy with everything before he starts. His knowledge and ability when it comes to tattooing is seriously impressive, and his work has never failed me.

The studio always has such a great atmosphere — relaxed, welcoming, professional, and extremely clean. You can tell there’s a lot of care put into both the space and the work being done there, which makes it very easy to feel comfortable.

Over the years I’ve built a genuine friendship with André, but I’d recommend him just as strongly even if I had only been tattooed by him once. Every time I leave his place, I feel like a new man and I’m already thinking about what I’m going to get from him next. If you’re in Porto and looking for an artist who is incredibly skilled, thoughtful, easy to work with, and genuinely cares about the tattoos he puts on people, go see André. Andre was awesome.  I had a short window in Porto and his communication and quick responses made it happen. I shared my ideas and he had several options ready to show me in quick time.  The shop was clean, well stocked and modern.  The process was well, a tattoo, it was awesome, it hurt a bit, and is amazing. I had such a great experience with André ! I was only in Porto for a few days (on my honeymoon in Portugal) and I reached out to André last minute and he was able to schedule me right away. His shop was clean, unique, and made me feel very comfortable. André was kind, professional, and his work was beautiful! André did an amazing job with my tattoo! Was able to choose one of his flash, which you can find on his instagram. The flash was of a traditional Portuguese mask from Carnaval, which is really cool as he was doing the flash design because he felt it was a great way of bringing more Portuguese culture into traditional style tattooing. Andre is the man! Perfect tattoo from start to finish. Me and my girlfriend both picked out tattoos from his extensive, beautifully done flash and painting selection. Great convo, professional service - he made a part of our trip from Philadelphia feel like home.
